When designing your bar, make sure it is useful but is nice looking as well. Pick a surface that will not be hard to clean. You can also add a sink with a faucet so that you will not have a hard time with food preparation and clean up especially if you held a large party.  The bar can have storage drawers so that you can keep condiments and stuff out of sight but handy.  There can also be a ref or an icemaker under the counter top, maybe even a beer keg in the bar itself.

These bars can be quite expensive or cheap it all depends on your tastes. So when you choose a bar to purchase take into consideration what you need and how willing you are to spend on accessories and furniture for your outdoor bar like chairs and stools, lighting and other decors.
