On their website they have vast offerings for their Weber Nation. There are grill classes offered every other week on many different topics, all hosted by Chef Jamie Perviance. Some of the grilling classes offered by Weber are; charcoal grilling, gas grilling, smoking with wood chips, creating great side dishes and more. Weber also offers their customers a chance to be on TV as they use real satisfied customers when it comes time to produce television ads. Also offered on the Weber website, ongoing advice from Weber grilling experts accessible by calling Weber 7 days a week, 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Ongoing podcasts and interactive recipe options are also available through their website. Weber really makes owning one of their grills fun by creating a feeling of community. Starting on the cheaper end of the spectrum, the Weber Spirit is reviewed as durable in comparison to other entry level grills. It is reported to be easy to use and assemble. On the higher end of the Weber spectrum, there is the Summit, reviewed as being a classy grill with great grill control allowing you to cook different foods at different temperatures simultaneously. Weber offers the following grills; Summit, Genesis, Spirit, Performer, One-Touch, Weber Q, Portable and the Specialty. The entry level Summit series offers three burners, separately controlled, a stainless steel enclosed cart with doors and it also comes with Weber’s electronic crossover ignition system . The Genesis offers 20% more cooking area than the Spirit and more stainless steel options such as work surfaces, handles, accents and trim. The Weber Summit offers an incredible and thick 9.5 mm stainless steels design along with 4 burners and many upgrades and options. The Weber Performer, One-touch, Weber Q, Portable and Specialty are generally smaller, single burner-free standing Weber grills with fewer options. Options and FeaturesThe Weber Summit comes with a 8,000 BTU smoker burner, which makes gas smoking easy. It also offers a smoker box that works well with wood chips or mesquite. Another feature of the Summit is a rotisserie burner and spit accessory allowing you to make high quality roasts. The rotisserie is mounted high so the grates do not need to be removed. Weber recently added an additional 10,600 BTU infrared sear burner to the Summit which is highly functional for cooking steak. The sear burner is conveniently located in between the main burners so you can use it simultaneously while grilling. Weber also offers side mounted additional burners and electric starters ignitions on most models. PricingWeber Spirits are offered in the $500 range. The Genesis sells in the $650 area, while the Summit sells for approximately $1,700. The smaller One-touch sells in the $150 range while the Q sells in the $200 range. |
